Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you order hosting, a domain name, or web design and development from wajdi.dev.

Last updated:

These terms apply to everything you order from wajdi.dev (“I”, “me”, “my”): web hosting, domain names, and web design and development. By placing an order or using a service, you agree to them. If something here is unclear, ask me before you order.

1. Who you’re dealing with

wajdi.dev is operated by Wajdi Alskaf, an individual IT specialist. You can reach me at me@wajdi.dev, or through the contact details on the contact page.

2. The services

Hosting. Space on servers for your website and email, with the features listed on the plan you choose. Plans, resources and prices are shown on the hosting page and may change for new orders at any time. The infrastructure behind the service is operated with trusted partners, and their technical limits form part of what each plan offers.

Domain names. You can register a domain through the store linked from the domains page. The domain is registered with the details you give, so keep them accurate. Registration is for the period you choose and must be renewed before it expires; renewal prices are shown in the store. Registries and registrars set their own rules, and a domain that breaks them or the acceptable use policy can be suspended or cancelled. Registrations are not refundable once processed (see the refund policy).

Web design and development. Each project starts with a written offer: what will be built, a timeline and a fixed price. The offer you accept is the agreement for that project; if it differs from these terms, the offer wins for that project.

3. Orders and payment

  • Hosting is ordered through the client portal, where you also see your invoices and renewal dates.
  • Prices are in US dollars unless the offer says otherwise.
  • Payment methods are shown when you order. Fees charged by your own bank or payment provider are yours to pay.
  • A service starts once payment is confirmed.

4. Renewals and cancellation

  • Hosting renews automatically for the same period, at the price in force at that time. I send a reminder before each renewal.
  • You can cancel before the renewal date from the client portal, or by writing to me. A cancelled service stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Refunds are covered in the refund policy.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your passwords safe. What happens under your account is your responsibility.
  • Follow the acceptable use policy.
  • Keep your own copy of anything important. Backups are a safety net, not a replacement for your own copies.

6. Suspension and termination

I may suspend or end a service if it breaks the acceptable use policy, threatens other customers or the servers, is not paid for, or if the law requires it. Where it’s reasonable, I’ll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. You can ask for your data before a service is removed, and I’ll help where I can.

7. Availability and backups

I work to keep services fast and available, but I can’t promise they will never be interrupted. Maintenance, faults at my partners or on the internet, and events outside my control can cause downtime. Hosting plans include daily backups kept for seven days; restoring them is a best-effort service.

8. Ownership of your work

For design and development projects: once the final payment is made, you own the custom work made for you. Third-party components, fonts and libraries keep their own licenses. Content you supply (text, images, logos) stays yours, and you confirm you have the right to use it.

9. Limits of liability

I’m responsible for doing my work with reasonable care. To the extent the law allows, I’m not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit or lost business, and my total liability for any service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the problem arose. Nothing here limits liability that can’t legally be limited.

10. Changes

I may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes apply to new orders straight away, and to existing services from their next renewal, unless the change is required by law or protects the service.
